We want to showcase a wide range of skill sets, so we are trying to be as lenient as possible when it comes to submissions.  However, there are a few guidelines.  First and foremost, make sure you register an account.  If you don't register, the submission options won't be available to you.  Once you have an account you will have a user menu that allows you to submit movies, reviews, articles and links.

For submitting movies:

  • The movie must be your own original work.  If it is discovered you have submitted work that is not your own the movie will be deleted and your account will be banned.
  • The film must be an animation, meaning no live action works.  Animation includes: Vector animation, 3D animation, machinima, claymation, stopmotion, etc.
  • The film must be complete, meaning no tests or trial runs.  If you have a test you would like feedback on we have a forum specifically dedicated to this.
  • When submitting a movie you must include the description, credits and software used for the production.
  • As of right now you can submit a video of yours that is currently on GoogleVideo, YouTube, Blip.tv, Dailymotion.com, Gametrailers.com, Jumpcut.com, Megavideo.com, Revver.com, Vimeo.com, zShare.net.  Alternatively, we also accept .swf files.  We feel a majority of our users will probably already have videos online through YouTube or other venues.  And .swf files are popular with Flash animators.  However, if there is a demand to upload other file formats to our gallery, we will consider expanding these guidelines.  Voice your opinon in our fourm if this is a concern for you.
For submitting reviews:
  • The review must be on a movie that is featured on this website.
  • You cannot review your own movies to avoid biased views.  However if you had a part in the movie, like voice acting, you are allowed to review the movie.
  • No personal attacks.  The review process is meant to provide constructive feedback and personal bashing will not be accepted.
  • Please include a thumbnail image of the movie you are submitting.  You can do this simply by screen capping one from the movie (usually by using the print screen key on PCs or Command + Shift + 3 on Macs).
  • The title of the article must match the title of the movie you are reviewing.
  • A 5 star rating must be included.
  • You can include a signature on your review linking to one of your works or websites.

For submitting articles:

  • You can submit articles that are relevant to animation.  If the article is not your own be sure to provide a source to the original article.
  • You can submit articles that hype up or discuss your own productions.
  • Include a thumbnail image for the article you are submitting.
  • Articles cannot be used to ask for help, recruit or advertise your services.  If you would like to do these things we have a forum designated for that.
  • You can include a signature on your article linking to one of your works or websites.

For submitting links:

  • You can submit links to your own websites.
  • You can submit links to helpful tutorial or tip websites.
  • No warez links.
